174 Stranded Pakistanis in Libya evacuated
LAHORE: First Turkish airline’s flight carrying 174 stranded Pakistanis in Libya has landed here at Lahore airport on early Tuesday, Geo News reported.
Meanwhile, those arrived Pakistan have lodged complaints with government against non-seriousness of Pakistan embassy in Libya in connection with rescue and relief and evacuation of Pakistani citizens in the face of ongoing masses-backed unrest.
An especial flight of Turkish airline evacuated 174 Pakistanis hailing from separate districts in Sindh and Punjab, who were residing in Libya for purpose of livelihoods.
On the occasion there were present at airport, provincial minister for food Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor and DCO Lahore who received Pakistanis.
Talking to Geo News, passengers narrated the worst stories ever of their lives they faced amid masses-launched uprising in Libya.
Also, they called on government for doing the needful in evacuation of stranded Pakistanis from Libya.
