Khosa signs PPP ouster summary
LAHORE: Governor Punjab Latif Khosa has signed the summary for ousting the ministers of Pakistan People’s Party from the Punjab Cabinet, Geo News reported Monday.Latif Khosa immediately after returning to Lahore from Karachi, where he had a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari, affixed his signature on the summary and then had it dispatched to the Chief Minister House.
The provincial minister who are no longer part of the Punjab Cabinet are: Senior Minister Raja Riaz, Finance Minister Tanvir Ashraf Kaira, Haji Ishaque, Labour Minister Ashraf Sohna, Minister for Culture Dr. Tanvir-ul-Islam, Minister for Information Technology Farooq Yousuf Ghurki and Minister for Population Welfare Neelum Jabbar.
Spokesman of Punjab Governor House said that PPP’s Punjab Assembly members would now sit on opposition benches and that no move would be made for undermining Pakistan Muslim League-N’s Government in the province.
