Wasim says no other option but to resign
ISLAMABAD: Director General Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Wasim Ahmed has said that he is sandwiched between two giants and now the only option left to him is to tender resignation, Geo News reported Saturday.
Under Supreme Court of Pakistan’s extreme pressure, Wasim Ahmed, after attending a meeting of a Senate Standing Committee here at Parliament House, talked quite openly to the media men.
“I am stuck between two mammoths – one wants to pull me out while the other is against it,” he said, adding, he is stuck in a dilemma.
However, he said that it seemed to him he was left with only one option now and that is to resign.
