MQM poised to part ways with PPP
KARACHI: Angry over the speech of Zulfiqar Mirza, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has said that the party has decided to say goodbye to the coalition with the Pakistan People's Party (PPP).
Member Co-ordination Committee Raza Haroon Raza Haroon flanked by other senior MQM leaders Faisal Sabzwari and Haidar Abbas Rizvi said Zulfiqar Mirza who was also the senior leader of Pakistan People's Party was patronizing the criminals belonging to People's Aman Committee.
The MQM leader said the crime situation in the biggest city of Karachi was alarming. The decision was taken after a lengthy meeting of party's top decision-making body.
Raza Haroon said the party would meet the president and formally covey the decision of Coordination committee.
