Nepalese CJ hails role of Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry
ISLAMABAD: The Chief Justice of Nepal, Justice Ram Prasad Shrestha has appreciated the role of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry for democracy and independent judiciary, Geo News reported.
Addressing a ceremony at Federal Judicial Academy, Nepalese CJ stated that independence of judiciary in Pakistan has high respect across the world.
Justice Prasad further said that proper judicial system is vital for progress and respect of human rights. He said that he wanted exemplary judicial system in South Asia.
Ram Prasad also stated that Nepalese judiciary had also faced the same situation like that of Pakistan in 2005 when President sacked the Prime Minister.(GEO URDU)
