MQM sympathises with victims of violence
KARACHI: Expressing sorrow over the recent wave of violence in Karachi, MQM's Chief Altaf Hussain has urged the people to stay calm.
In his message from MQM's London Secretariat on Friday, Altaf Hussain urged Karachiites to show patience in trying times. MQM chief also directed his party workers to stay calm and face the situation.
Meanwhile, denouncing the incidents of violence in Sindh particularly in Karachi, the MQM co-ordination committee kept a close watch on the events that unfolded in the wake of strike call by the ruling PPP.
Members of the co-ordination committee in London and Pakistan discussed the latest violence and torture and exchanged views regarding the future line of action.
Furthermore they appealed to the people of Sindh to remain alert to protect the province and its capital. (PPI)
