Blast in one PS, bomb in another defused at Gojranawala
GOJRANAWALA: The boundary walls of a police station caved in and a person lodged in the lock-up wounded in a blast, while the other bomb planted in the People’s Colony police station was defused.Gojranawala CPO, Ghulam Mohammad Dogar said that a bomb planted by the boundary wall of the Sabzi Mandi exploded demolishing boundary walls of the police station and the walls of its adjoining buildings besides an accused lodged in the lock-up was also injured.
Another bomb was planted inside the People’s Colony police station, which was defused by the bomb disposal squad. More than two kilograms of explosives were used in both the bombs. (Geo Urdu)
