PML-Q leaders meet Zardari

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) delegation, headed by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, on Friday night called on President Asif Ali Zardari at the Presidency.

Briefing media , spokesperson to the president, Farhatullah Babar, said that the two sides discussed the current political situation in the country. Chaudhry Shujaat said that the PML-Q would not be party to any attempt to destabilise the government. “The PML-Q believes that the present democratic dispensation should complete its mandatory term of five years,” Shujaat said. Zardari thanked Chaudhry Shujaat for his assurances. The PML-Q included Waseem Sajjad, Ch Pervaz Leah, Amir Muqam, Kamil Ali Agha, Riaz Prizada and Ghous Baksh Maher. staff report
