Trial court to decide Davis immunity case: LHC


LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) ruled that the trial court would decide about the immunity of arrested CIA contractor Raymond Davis, Geo News reported.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs submitted its reply to the LHC regarding immunity of US national Raymond Davis. The ministry told the LHC that there was no record regarding Davis’ immunity with the foreign office, if there was any would be presented before the court.

Deputy Attorney General said we were aware of our responsibilities. The ministry in its reply said that Davis was given Official Business Visa upon request of American government. ‘US authorities on 27th January had sought Davis’ release.’
