Nisar blames former govts for fake voters' lists
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Saturday blamed the previous governments for all the fake voters lists, Geo News reported.Chaudhry Nisar chaired a meeting of PAC here at Parliament House.
He and the members of the committee strongly criticized NADRA's the policies for issuing ID cards to non-residents.
He said terrorists and Afghan refugees were easily getting the ID cards due to, what he termed as, NADRA's soft policies.
However, NDRA's Chairman Ali Arshad Hakim said that National ID cards of 90,000 Afghan refugees had been canceled besides 98,000 duplicate ID cards.
Chaudhry Nisar said recovery of a computerized NIC from an Iranian citizen Abdul Malik Raigi was a thing of concern.
