Letter written to Interpol over desecration of Qur’an: Malik
LAHORE: Interior Minister Rheman Malik Sunday said that Teri Jones, who committed a sacrilegious act by desecrating Qur’an, is an agent of Taliban and al-Qaeda and that protest against him would continue, Geo News reported.
Talking to media men here, Rehman Malik said Teri Jones by desecrating the Holy Qur’an not only hurt the emotions of Pakistanis but also the entire Muslim ummah.
He said a letter has been written to Interpol, requesting cancellation of Teri Jones priesthood.
