Despite PM Ashraf orders, POL prices remain unchanged
ISLAMABAD: The price of petroleum products remains unchanged as the Ministry of Petroleum has not issued a notification for a decrease in the petroleum levy.
In several cities across Pakistan, petrol is still being sold at the March 1 price despite orders from Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf to roll back prices to the February 28 levels.
OGRA had withdrawn its March 1 POL price-hikes by issuing a fresh notification according to which the prices of petrol was slashed to Rs103.07/litre from Rs106.60, high speed diesel to Rs109.21 from Rs113.56/litre and kerosene to Rs99.90 from Rs103.69/litre effective March 3.
