No directives received from PM to decrease prices: Petroleum Adviser
ISLAMABAD: Petroleum Adviser Dr Asim Hussain said Sunday that his ministry had not received any directives from Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf to decrease petroleum prices.According to Dr Asim, the prices of petroleum products would be decreased after directives were received from the prime minister.
Prime Minister Ashraf on Saturday ordered the March 1 hike in petroleum prices to be withdrawn and prices to be restored to the February 28 levels.
However the prices of petroleum products remained unchanged as the Ministry of Petroleum has not issued a notification to decrease the petroleum levy.
