SC forms larger bench to hear Abbas Town suo moto case
KARACHI: A five-member larger bench of the Supreme Court has been constituted to hear the Abbas Town bombing suo moto notice.The bench would be comprised of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Jawwad S Khawaja, Justice Khilji Arif, Justice Amir Hani Muslim and Justice Ejaz Afzal.
The larger bench of the apex court would hear the suo moto notice on Friday.
At least 49 people were killed and over 150 injured in the bombing at Abbas Town on March 3.
