Hindrance in elections will not be tolerated: Nawaz
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday no hindrance will be tolerated in the holding of general elections.
In a meeting with Jamiat Ahle Hadith Secretary General Hafiz Abdul Karim in Raiwind, Nawaz said the accountability of the corrupt rulers has become inevitable to secure the future of the country.
The PML-N chief said all the parties will have to take decisions in the national interest, keeping personal interests aside.
He said the PML-N after coming into power will implement every single clause of its manifesto. “We want to take all the democratic forces along,” he said, adding that the present rulers gave nothing to the country during the last five years except crises.
“Due to this performance of the government the masses are not ready to bear them even for a moment now,” he said.
Nawaz said the PML-N was fighting the battle of the country’s survival.
PML-N will distribute ticket absolutely on merit: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif said that PML-N would distribute party tickets absolutely on merit as PML-N aims to change Pakistan so it will give ticket to character full and honest nominees.
He was talking to famous Nat Khawan, Abdur Razzaq Jami before leaving for Dubai here on Saturday.
Nawaz said that the whole nation was adoringly watching towards PML-N and it will fulfil the expectations of the masses, adding that only strong and character full political leadership can bring the country out from the plethora of problems recently prevailing in the society.
