Article 62, 63 not binding on caretaker PM: ECPISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) member Shehzad Akbar said Friday that article 62 and 63 of the constitution were not binding on the caretaker prime minister.
According to Akbar, article 62 and 63 are only binding on individuals contesting for parliament. He added that there were no restrictions in the constitution regarding a dual national being appointed caretaker prime minister.
