PPP shouldn't suggest names lacking public trust: Shahbaz

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif Saturday stressed on holding of consultations with all the parties for the induction of caretaker set up and that the People's Party should desist from suggesting names that lack public confidence.

Addressing a press conference hours before the dissolution of National Assemblies, Shahbaz Sharif said no consensus has so far been evolved over dissolution of national and provincial assemblies on the same day but added that his party was ready to hold talks in this regard.

"In case the ruling PPP has a better name to suggest for the caretaker prime minister's office, we are ready to consider it," the Punjab CM said.
