Opposition nominates Justice (R) Hussain, Hafeez Randhawa for Punjab caretaker CMLAHORE: The PPP led opposition in the Punjab Assembly has nominated Justice (R) Syed Zahid Hussain and Hafeez Randhawa for the post of caretaker chief minister. Justice (R) Hussain is a former judge of the Lahore High Court.
Speaking to Geo News Opposition leader in the provincial assembly, Raja Riaz hoped Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif would be in agreement with the names nominated by the opposition.
The summary for dissolving the Punjab Assembly has also been prepared and signed by Chief Minister Shhabaz Sharif. It is expected that the summary will be sent to Governor Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood after it is reviewed by PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif later today (Wednesday).
