Sindh interim CM indebted to PPP: Ghous
KARACHI: Pakistan Mulsim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Sindh President Ghous Ali Shah Thursday claimed that the interim chief minister of the province is indebted to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for their favors.
During a press conference at his residence here on Thursday, Ghous Ali Shah said that the PPP have had made Justice (retd) Zahid Qurban Alivi judge of Sindh high Court (SHC) and he also owed benefits during the tenure of outgoing PPP-led government.
He further said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) resolve to sit on opposition benches was part of the collusion under which the ruling PPP and the major opposition party could appoint the caretaker CM of their own.
Shah asked Election Commission and SHC to take notice over the appointment of Justice (retd) Zahid Qurban Alvi as interim chief minister of Sindh.
