LAHORE: Unidentified miscreants fired on PML-Q Punjab leaders Chaudhry Shuhaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s house on Friday.

Party’s Central Information Secretary Senator Kamil Ali Agha strongly condemned the “heavy firing in broad daylight” at the residence of PML leaders and said that the Punjab government seems to be involved in this incident. In a statement issued on Friday, Senator Kamil Ali Agha said that such an incident in broad daylight in one of the busiest localities of Lahore “is ample proof of inefficiency of the provincial government”. He said that this incident has exposed all tall claims of security by the Punjab government. Kamil Ali Agha said that fearing sure defeat in the next elections, the Punjab government is resorting to “such deplorable tactics to harass its political opponents”. “We are not afraid of bullets, Insha Allah we will settle the account of our political opponents’ bullets by responding through ballot in the elections,” he declared.
