All but PTI and JI welcome Khoso

LAHORE: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday expressed their reservation over newly appointed caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso. However, both the parties said that they respect the decision taken by the Election Commission of Pakistan. A JI delegation headed by its Ameer, Syed Munawar Hassan, called on the PTI leadership in Lahore on Sunday to discuss the seat adjustment issue between both the parties for the upcoming election. Hassan said that seat adjustment was being discussed with the PTI, and that the election committees of both the parties would take final decision over the issue. Meanwhile, mainstream political parties the PML-N, PML-Q and the JUI-F have accepted the decision of the ECP to appoint Justice (r) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso as interim PM. agencies
