Petition to include Pervez Musharraf’s name in ECL submitted in SCISLAMABAD: Chief cleric of Lal Masjid has submitted an application in the Supreme Court to include former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s name in the exit control list (ECL) Monday, Geo News reported.
The petitioner, Maulana Abdul Aziz, is of the view that Pervez Musharraf is the main accuse in the Lal Masjid operation case. The commission probing the Lal Masjid operation case had summoned him several times but he did not appear.
Maulana Abdul Aziz further stated that who ever testified before the commission had held him responsible for the operation. Therefore, the court is requested to put Musharraf’s name on the ECL, he said.
