PML-F moves SHC against appointment of Sindh CM

KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League- Functional (PML-F) on Tuesday challenged the appointment of Sindh caretaker chief minister in Sindh High Court (SHC). According to reports, Jam Madad Ali and Nusrat Sahar Abbasi from the PML-F filed a petition at the SHC. They maintained in the petition that the appointment was made, by following an unconstitutional procedure. They prayed before the court to declare the appointment as null and void. It may be mentioned that Pakistan People’s Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement decided to nominate Justice (Retd) Zahid Qurban Alavi as caretaker chief minister of Sindh, who took oath last week. online
