Khoso orders effective security measures for polls
ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (retd) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has directed concerned authorities to adopt effective security measures for general elections, Geo News reported.
The caretaker prime minister issued these orders during a briefing by the Home Department. Officials briefed him over law and order situation in the country. Interior Secretary and others apprised the premier about the performance of various institutions.
During the briefing, Mir Hazar Khan ordered effective security measures besides enhancing intelligence cooperation with all the four provinces. He also directed for enhancing coordination with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
