CEC Fakhrudin urges Baloch nationalists to participate in polls
QUETTA: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Fakhrudin G Ibrahim has called upon Baloch nationalist leaders to participate in general elections for bringing change through ballot, Geo News reported.
This he said in a meeting with Baloch nationalist and other party leaders here on Thursday. Leaders of more than 13 political and nationalist parties meet CEC.
The CEC Fakhrudin urged the nationalists to participate in the polls and said political leaders should bring change through ballot and not by the bullet. He assured them for redressing their reservations, adding special security measures would be adopted in the province.
Leaders of other parties included National Party, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Jamaat Islami, Hazara Democratic Party, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F and others.
