Taliban ceasefire: govt committee meets today
ISLAMABAD: The committee formed by the government to hold peace talks with the Taliban nominated committee will meet later today (Tuesday).
Talking to Geo News here, Irfan Siddiqui said in the meeting the members of the committee would deliberate on the Taliban’s month long ceasefire announcement.
He said after the deliberations, the committee would likely hold a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to brief him over the future course of action of the peace dialogue.
