Imran asks govt to start dialogue with TTP without reservations

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has asked the government to start a dialogue with the Taliban without any fear and reservation.
He termed the announcement by the banned TTP as foundation of peace in the country. He was talking to opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmoodur Rashid and other MPAs of his party here on Sunday. The PTI chief said that hostile forces wanted Pakistani armed forces to fight with their people. He said that terrorism cannot be eliminated with the use of force but it increases. He said the government should give a serious and positive response to the ceasefire offer by the Taliban as an end to terrorism would bring peace and prosperity in the country.
Imran Khan said the PTI was a party for change and asked the MPAs to raise their voice in the Punjab Assembly on issues agitating the minds of the masses. He was of the opinion that because of price hike and unemployment, poor people have been forced to commit suicides. He alleged that the provincial leaders were using national resources for their political objectives. The PTI chief said the PML-N government has failed in every respect as it has not been able to resolve any problem including power load shedding.
Earlier, Imran Khan took a serious notice of absence of some MPAs from the meeting. He directed that the absenting members be informed about the decisions of the meeting and directed to positively attend the meetings in the future. He expressed confidence
