Lawyers boycott against terrorist attack

QUETTA: Lawyers in Balochistan expressed their outrage against the suicide attack in Islamabad sessions court and boycotted proceedings of courts across the province.
According to reports, complete strike had been observed in all courts of the province while lawyers have boycotted all proceedings and did not appear before the courts. Speaking to the media, the lawyer said that it was not the first attack on courts. During the past few years many deadly attacks had taken place and many lawyers and judges have been killed in those attacks.The lawyers said that they feel insecure and are unable to perform their responsibilities under such brutal attacks. They asked the government to take strict measures to curb such brutality in future.
Meanwhile, a condolence reference was held in the Balochistan High Court. Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Qazi Faez Essa along with judges and lawyers participated in the reference. Speaking on the occasion, Justice Qazi Faez said, "Islam teaches us the lesson of justice and not that of killing innocent people. "He added," Due to the attack, lawyers are in utter grief but they are not afraid of such cowered acts."
