US envoy condoles families of terror attack victimsISLAMABAD: On behalf of the American people, US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard G Olson extended deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the despicable act of terrorism that took place at Islamabad’s District Court Complex in the F8 sector on Monday.
“The ambassador wishes those who were injured a full and speedy recovery. We strongly condemn this brutal act,” a statement issued on Tuesday said. It said that with this attack on innocent civilians, terrorists continue to demonstrate blatant disregard for life. “The United States remains steadfast in its commitment to the people of Pakistan in their efforts to counter terrorism and build a peaceful future. We stand ready to provide any appropriate aid to assist authorities in investigating this tragic attack,” the statement read.
