Pir Pagara calls on Nawaz Sharif
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Functional Chief Sibghatullah Shah Pir Pagara called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday.
Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Pir Pagara’s younger brother Pir Sadruddin Rashdi was also present during the meeting.
Sources said that discussing Karachi’s law and order situation, the prime minister told the PML-F chief that the government and law enforcement agencies were taking measures for peace in the metropolis.
He said that country’s peace was linked with the peace in Karachi however the city’s problems were complicated. He added that the progress was being made towards the peace. Nawaz Sharif assured Pir Pagara that indiscriminate action would be taken against criminal elements in Karachi.
