Army should not be dragged into dialogue process: Shah

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Opposition Leader, Khursheed Shah has reiterated his demand to not have the army be part of the dialogue process with the Taliban.

Speaking in the National Assembly, Shah said he was not opposed to talks, however, he wanted the Pakistan Army not be dragged into it, adding if talks fail, then the blame would be shifted to the army.

The opposition leader expressed his concerns over recent statements made by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar relating to the Islamabad court attack. Shah questioned if the interior minister was trying to shield terrorists.
