Youth playing active role for uplift of country: Ackhazai

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Ackhazai has said that youngsters are becoming a part of the national mainstream by joining the ranks of the Balochistan Frontier Corps and thereby playing an active role for the prosperity and development of the country.
He said this addressing on the occasion passing-out parade of Frontier Corps in Zia Stadium Loralai, on Thursday. Governor Balochistan said that the issues of Balochistan would be resolved through the elected representatives of Balochistan whose accountability would be the job of the masses themselves. He further eulogized the role of new recruits in FC, saying that having completed their training, they would play a positive role in maintaining the law and order in Balochistan.
He was of the view that the chances provided to the youngsters of the remotest districts of Pakistan is a positive step as it would help reduce the backwardness on the one hand and would also ensure the development and defence of the country on the other. He also expressed satisfaction over the standards of the passing out parade and congratulated all the trainers and teachers on their achievement.
Among others, Major General Frontier Corps (FC) Ejaz Shahid, Lieutenant Colonel Syed Nadeem RAza, Chief Instructor FC training Centre and people from civil and military ranks were also present on the occasion. Governor Balochistan also distributed awards and prized among the new recruits on their distinct performance and achievements. Later, Governor Balochistan also attended a tribal Jirga in Lorali and addressing on the occasion, he said that he had visited Lorali after a period of 58 years and laid emphasis on the reviving of the Pushtun traditions.
Speaking on the occasion, IG FC Major General Ejaz Shahid said that Balochistan is facing the formidable challenge of terrorism and the 1600 new recruits have been imparted all the necessary training to face the daunting challenges of security. He said that 1600 recruits, hailing from all parts of the country, have completed their training and are ready to join the Frontier Corps. He said that it was encouraging as the youngsters from far-flung area of Pakistan have given a chance to join FC. He said that the recruitment of the new youngsters would fulfil the dual purpose of the security and prosperity of the country.
