Imran alleges open rigging in Punjab by-polls

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan has alleged that rigging was carried out in by-elections of Punjab openly, Geo News reported.

Addressing a press conference here Monday, Imran Khan said Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) did not comply with Supreme Court (SC) orders.

Khan went on saying that there was no chance of fair and transparent elections in the country.

PTI chairman said:“ I will meet acting Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of Pakistan Thursday and will discuss with him the matter of rigging in 4 constituencies during general elections and by-polls”.

Commenting on Tharparkar situation, Khan said feudal mentality led to drought condition in the desert district.

Imran Khan also alleged that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Awami National Party (ANP) and People’s Party fought US war for five years.
