Pak army gears up relief activities in Tharparkar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army has further geared up the relief activities in Tharparkar on the directives of Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) spokesman, the number of Medical camps in Tharparkar have been increased upto nine. Mobile Medical and food supply teams have reached far-flung areas of Danahi, Majhniti and Goths of Chachro.

Nine medical camps have been established in Mithi, Islamkot, Diplo, Virawah, Nagarparkar, Chachro and Khinser. 17 Army doctors including lady doctors and child specialists are working and have treated 7139 patients during last three days.

240 tons of ration have so far been distributed.
