Dasti's allegations dismissed for lack of evidence
ISLAMABAD: The special committee appointed to investigate allegations by MNA Jamshed Dasti regarding immoral activities at the parliament lodges has dismissed the allegations citing lack of evidence.
The special committee had been tasked with investigating allegations my MNA Jamshed Dasti who alleged on the floor of the national assembly that immoral activities were taking place at the parliament lodges.
The committee found no evidence in the entry & exit logs maintained at the lodges and none of the parliamentarians came forward to record their statement.
Meanwhile, Jamshed Dasti produced empty liquor bottles as evidence which the committee deemed insufficient to back the allegations made by the MNA.
