Taliban committee to visit North Waziristan today
ISLAMABAD: The Taliban committee will visit North Waziristan to hold talks with the TTP leaders today (Thursday).
It was decided in a meeting between Maulana Samiul Haq and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday.
The Taliban committee, during its visit, will pave way for a visit by the newly formed government panel to hold formal talks with the militants.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that the government will provide helicopter to the Taliban committee.
