Imran lambastes Punjab govt over ‘maltreatment of nurses’
LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan Sunday lambasted the Punjab government over what he termed as the provincial administration’s persecution of the protesting nurses in Lahore.
“The Punjab government’s maltreatment of the nurses who serve the distressed mankind is extremely shameful,” the PTI Chairman said in a statement issued here.
Imran Khan also described the torching of a Hindu temple in upper Sindh province as appalling, saying worship places are monuments of peace and respect. “Sindh government should cast away negligence and bring the situation of the province under control,” he urged.
