Microsoft selects Roots for Mentor School programme
ISLAMABAD: The Roots Millennium Schools has been selected by Microsoft as one of 80 outstanding Mentor Schools from around the world for their leadership, innovative teaching practice and student centred approach.
The project application was judged by an external group of education experts among a group of extremely qualified schools. Mentor Schools are recognised leaders who have achieved change within their own education systems. Each year, a small number of innovative schools can apply to join this elite group of leading-edge schools from around the world as part of the Microsoft Mentor School Programme.
The Roots Millennium Schools has been declared as a mentor school for successfully following 21st century teaching pedagogies and 21st century student centred approach. Roots Millennium Schools is first of its kind for being awarded with this title.
Now the Roots Millennium Schools will be provided with the insider access to Microsoft strategies and technologies, leadership professional development opportunities, recognition as a global leader in education via social media and other Microsoft channels.
