13 Pakistani fishermen held by Indian Coast Guard

AHMEDABAD: At least 13 Pakistani fishermen were apprehended and their boat was seized by the Indian Coast Guard after they allegedly crossed the international maritime boundary line into Indian territorial waters on Friday. “A Pakistani boat, registration no 14126 B was apprehended three nautical miles inside the Indian territorial waters on March 14,” the official sources said on Sunday. The apprehended boat Al Jia Jalani, along with 13 crew members was being escorted to Okha by ICGS Meera Behn to hand over to the local police for joint interrogation, the sources said.
