New SC registrar appointed

ISLAMABAD: Government officer Tahir Shahbaz has been appointed the registrar of the Supreme Court, according to a notification issued by the Supreme Court on Tuesday. Tahir Shahbaz has served as the Capital Development Authority chairman. He would assume charge as Supreme Court registrar on March 24 on the retirement of outgoing registrar, Dr Faqir Hussain, who would leave office on March 24 (Monday) after serving on the post for about seven years.
