PM summons federal cabinet meeting on Friday
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has convened a federal cabinet session on Friday to discuss important issues including national security and talks with Taliban.
According to sources the agenda of the session chaired by the prime minister would include the internal situation, peace process with the Taliban and an increase in trade relations with India.
On the other hand Imran Khan talking to senior journalist Hamir Mir in 'CapitalTalk' has said that the talks with Taliban have already succeeded as it is now clear which Taliban groups are willing to give peace a chance.
Talking to media at the Multan airport the leader of the Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam(F) Maulana Fazalur Rehman has said that the peace talks with the Taliban are the responsibility of the political leadership, however, the army should be consulted and kept up to date about the process.
