PA Secretary sent on leave after son assaults traffic warden
LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Secretary Rai Mumtaz Hussain has been sent on one-month leave after his son tortured a traffic warden.
Police had arrested Rai Afzal and his friend Rai Najaf after they tortured the warden on Litton Road and presented them at a local court. The accused got bail against surety bonds of Rs50,000.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident after the secretary was sent on forced leave.
