Afghan army fires 6 mortars into Pakistan

MIRANSHAH: At least six mortar shells were fired from the territory of Afghanistan, which landed into the Pakistani bordering area in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) on Saturday morning. However, no loss of life was reported. Security sources said that the six mortar shells fired from across the border landed near a Pakistani checkpost in Ghulam Khan sector in NWA at 7am. The sources said that fortunately, no loss of life or property was reported as the shells landed in the fields.
