Condition of Musharraf’s mother improving

DUBAI: The condition of former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s mother is improving.

Zarin Musharraf was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the W.W.Wilson Hospital in Sharjah on Saturday.

According to hospital sources, 95-year-old Zarin Musharraf is not facing difficulty breathing but it still being kept in the ICU.

Sources added that no relative including Sehba Musharraf had stayed with the patient overnight.

The special court indicted Pervez Musharraf in the high treason case on Monday and is expected to announce its decision allowing the former president to travel abroad to visit his ailing mother and seek personal medical treatment for his cardiac condition in the US at 2:00 PM today.
