ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that his party has exposed horse trading in the Senate elections and the PTI MPAs rejected offers of hundreds of millions rupees and ensured the success of party candidates.

Addressing PTI’s Gilgit-Baltistan Convention here on Saturday, Imran said that they would fight for an independent election commission after their struggle for an independent judiciary. He said that decisions about Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are taken in Islamabad, whereas the PTI after winning the elections would bring a new system by empowering the government and people of both the region. He vowed not to allow any rigging in Gilgit-Baltistan elections. He said that the real change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would come after Local government elections in the province for which they have given June for the elections. He assured that power would be devolved to the lower level through the local government system.

He said that the federation was not giving share of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in water and gas. He said that the provincial chief minister is a nobleman and had he – Imran - been in his place, he would have created difficulties for the federation. The PTI chairman said that Federal Minister Barjees Tahir has been made Gilgit-Baltistan Governor for rigging while the caretaker government s not neutral. He asked the people of Gilgit-Baltistan to stand against the caretaker government to get their rights.
