It is up to Almighty to topple govt or otherwise: Ayaz Sadiq
SAMANABAD: Calling Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman a master of giving statements, Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Wednesday said most of what the former says has dual meanings.“It is, however, entirely up to Allah Almighty to topple the government or otherwise,” Ayaz Sadiq said while talking to media persons after inaugurating the launch of a tube well here.
On Tuesday, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman had warned that ‘we cannot form our own government but if we decide to topple the government, then even the voters would not be able to save it.’
Ayaz Sadiq denied any amendments being made to the laws governing the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), adding, however, that amendments can be made if the government and opposition so decide.
The NA Speaker pointed out that the issue of water shortage is getting more and more serious, saying planning is being made to install water treatment plants.
