Zardari postpones press conference
NEW YORK: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari postponed a press conference, which he was due to hold here on Thursday.
PPP leader Senator Rehman Malik on Wednesday said Mr Zardari would hold a press conference on Thursday, where he would discuss prevailing situation of the country.
He was likely to discuss the activities of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against PPP leaders in Sindh.
The former president was also expected to clear the air about his alleged statement about the retirement of Army Chief General Raheel Sharif.
PPP leaders did not give any reason behind postponement of the press conference.
