PTI to oppose bills on NAB, PIA: Imran Khan

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan on Sunday said the opposition and government are wary of the Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) despite that the fact he was unanimously selected by both.

“How will they react when there will be an independent NAB in the country,” Imran Khan wondered while talking to media persons here after presiding over a meeting of his party’s core committee.

He said his party would oppose the government’s bills on NAB and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

The PTI chief said the government made a company three years ago and it is being awarded all the contracts of mega projects.

He said a leader from within Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has made serious allegations against the party and called for the investigation of the accusation relating to MQM’s links with Indian intelligence agency RAW (Research and Analysis Wing).
