India to issue 250 visas for T20 bout against Pakistan
Online
NEW DELHI - Ahead of the scheduled World Twenty20 match between Pakistan and India, New Delhi has decided to issue 250 visas to Pakistani spectators, Indian media reported on Monday.
The development comes after Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh declined to promise security to the Pakistan Cricket Team, citing a January attack on an Indian Army base.
Pakistan’s three-member security team is in India to review security arrangements in Dharamsala. The team will present its findings to Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Pakistan Cricket Board officials.
