Sindh CM orders probe against unlawful hiring in police
KARACHI - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Friday directed the chief secretary to initiate investigation regarding the unlawful hiring in Sindh police.
The orders have come after a period of three years after the hiring was made. Other irregularities in the police department are also to be investigated. The chief minister directed that investigation be done regarding the hiring of police officers more than the announced number of nine thousand. He further ordered to investigate about the mismanagement done in the funds allocated to the police.
He ordered the chief secretary to have the matter investigated through the anti-corruption department. He said instead of restricting the matter to mere reports and findings, action should be taken against the culprits.
